Verified Reviewer |Poor cleanliness and late charge fees despite network delay
Rented a Toyota Vios today and found the interior front is very dusty. Went back home had a bad running nose due to it.
Recently I got imposed a late charge fees of $50 though the end booking submitted past 1 minute.
This is due to heavy traffic and upon returning, the network happened to takes longer time therefore it surpassed the 15 minutes grace period. Tried to request for waiver but no response from the team.

Verified Reviewer |False Damage Claim by GETGO - reflection/shine on photo $375
The photo taken of car has a white shine on bumper.
$375 for repairing a reflection on photograph.
I have sent them several photos with shine/reflection showcasing that the reflection/shine is not a scratch or any type of damage.
This was a month ago. They could have compared next hirers photos, could have asked the staff that refuel/clean the car , is it damaged.
Could have done a lot of things before invoicing me $375 falsely .

Unreasonable
For a super minor damage such as scratch (which cant be seen from far), would cost a repair for nearly $1.3k + admin fee, towing ( for what also i dont know) super unreasonable and what a cheat for money. Milleage also so expensive ! only good for point A to B , but not for a whole day outing.

I was accused of retail theft, and I didn't steal anything. If you look at the video footage, you will see I paid for my items at your location. Here's what happened: I went in, bought food, and spent almost $70. I grabbed two Reese's Peanut Butter Trees. I gave them to the cashier who was ringing me up. I saw them rung up, and I thought they were placed in the bag. I paid for the items, nearly $70 in total. As I walked out to my truck, I realized I had forgotten to pay for gas. I went back in, paid for the gas which amounted to approximately $40 or $50.
After I pumped my gas, I got in the truck and went to take the food out. To my surprise, none of my Reese's were in the bags. They were on the counter, right where I had left them. They weren't in the box along with the rest of the items. I had grabbed them, and then I walked out. Someone called the cops and told them that I had stolen them. Now, I am facing retail theft charges, even though I didn't steal anything.
You benefit substantially from my business every week. I probably spend between three to four hundred dollars a week at that Get-Go, specifically at the Brookville, PA location. They didn't even ask me if I wanted a receipt, so they didn't give me one.

I had booked a car with them on 28 Oct 2024. When I collected the car, there was only 1/10 of the petrol left.
All four tires looked uninflated. I had to waste time driving to the nearest petrol kiosk to top up the petrol and inflate the tires, only to find out that one of them was punctured. I had to call the support team and they expected me to wait while they came down to check, which I disagreed with because I was late for my appointment. After that, the support team told me I could book a taxi and make a claim.
So, I made a claim on 28 Nov; nobody responded to my claim. I was also being charged for the rental fee and mileage use which I did not get to use but instead helped them to settle their horrible car issue. Instead of compensating me, they charged me. When I wrote to their email, nobody was able to address my concern and they responded to me with an irrelevant answer.
I had emailed them a few times and nothing was done. This is a scam company!!!

This company does not handle refunds, don't even try. They never make their policy for late returns clear.
Use them at your own risk in every sense.
The live chat says one thing, while the service side says another with standard responses that are absolutely useless. There is no room to escalate, or there will simply be no response.

Verified Reviewer3rd time they scam charge me due to app glitch
I have been using GetGo every day. Regardless, on some days, the app glitches have cost me more money, but I've overlooked it.
For example, when I book for 2 pm to 6 pm, they give me 6 pm to 10 pm. And then I can't cancel it.
I always return the car when I have 30 to 90 minutes left. Please check my records.
Then today, I extended my booking at 5 pm for an additional 90 minutes to be a responsible driver. Apparently, the request did not go through, so my car rental will end at 6:15.
I was not aware of this.
Some strange person called me at 6:27 and remained silent for 3 minutes, then started talking at 6:30 to tell me that they were unable to extend my booking since it was less than 15 minutes from the end time. They added that I needed to rush back or be charged $50 for every hour. I had to rush back from 20km away during peak hour and was charged $100. I believe this is part of their strategy to generate revenue.
Don't use this app.
Seriously, it's better to take a taxi. I've had enough of their nonsense.

Lousy Service and Management
1. I booked the Toyota Sienta on 11/6/24 for 4hrs.
Car had issue, aircon warm and car thermostat Icon shows hot. The car inside was also getting warm. So i immediately returned the car back. But was only refunded on the hours i did not use.
I told them i the issue only happened when j start d to drive about 3km from the place o collected the car. But their stinko management and staffs did not bother. To shut me up, they promised to look into my next booking but then it was just lip service.
2. I booked a car but when i went there, the car Mazda 3 wasnt there.
The stupid agent told me to check the next level up and down. After futile, she ended up saying that the car was brought for maintenance. They replaced me with another car at another multi-story carpark. The agent emailed also promised to give $5 off for my next booking but nothing happening months later.
Another lip service.
In short, this silly GetGo is completely not user friendly. I will never ever recommend anyone using GetGo services if they have not signed up.

Irresponsible Car User
The last user (19/5/24 -11am)of Get-Go car rental for SLF3298P did not park the rented car in the lot designated for Get-Go cars at Blk 60A Lor 4 Toa Payoh. Not sure if it's the same driver because this has happened more than once.
User's recommendation: Co-Sharing members should be informed to strictly adhere to do so, or perhaps Get-Go shoupd penalise such errant members.

I used GetGo already few years. Recently I did a patrol refill but I didn't get the promo code.
GetGo promised promo code is automatically added to customer promo code wallet within 3 to 5 working days (I think not so efficient). However, this time almost working days, still no promo code. I keep go to their live chat asking about this, the people in this team push the problem to another team.
I email 4 times about this matter to helllo@***.sg. No people responded to my email.
I want to say very very poor customer service.

Unreasonable late charge
Is my first time trying out Getgo yesterday. Is a horrible experience and I wont use it again.
I downloaded the app and try it for the first time. As I did not click on the extend booking. What they did is lock the booking and start to charge $50/hr. I contacted their customer service and they told me there is nothing they can do and demand me to return the vehicle immediately.
I was so *** and have to cancel my meeting and rush back to return the vehicle. I took the vehicle at yishun and when they lock the booking, I am located at moumbatten road.
They ended up charge me $100 penalty fee. My warning to others do not rent their vehicle.

They ask same question again and again and each support member give different answered example like you late fee waiver rejected . Then one say it's approved other will say it's reject and if ask more then they immidietly reply "do you have any more questions else we close the conversation"don't use get you may sucked with *** of dollars. I had rented a vehicle and was late in returning the vehicle for 3 minutes and subsequently charged a penalty of $50. The reason for the delay was due to refueling the vehicle which had less than quarter tank of fuel.
However, the petrol kiosk had many vehicles and this resulted in a delay in returning the vehicle to my location by 3 minutes. There was heavy traffic which further delayed the return. I feel the penalty of $50 is too excessive amount for 3 mins. Please review the late return penalty charges.
Perhaps a staggered fee be imposed for blocks of 5 mins delay.
Appeal for waiver was turned down. Disappointed that the team did not approve the appeal.

Easy fix. Pull the terms YOU agreed to, find the special clause that lets you slide because YOU didn't plan YOUR return properly, and you should be fine. 3 minutes or 3 hours, YOU said YOU understood this would happen if you were late you silly plank.
